transporte de momentum convectivo (TMC) do esquema Kain-Fritsch.
Esta atualiza{\c{c}}{\~a}o se refere {\`a} inser{\c{c}}{\~a}o
do termo relacionado {\`a} perturba{\c{c}}{\~a}o da
press{\~a}o na escala da nuvem na equa{\c{c}}{\~a}o de
tend{\^e}ncia de momentum do esquema Kain-Fritsch. O objetivo foi
aprimorar as simula{\c{c}}{\~o}es de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o do
modelo Eta a partir da contribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o do TMC proposto.
Nos experimentos, foram utilizados quatro vers{\~o}es do esquema
de convec{\c{c}}{\~a}o Kain-Fritsch (KF, KFMX, KFMXP055,
KFMXP07). KF foi utilizado como uma vers{\~a}o controle, pois
n{\~a}o possui o TMC e, portanto, serviu como base para a
detec{\c{c}}{\~a}o do papel deste processo na
distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o das chuvas. KFMX {\'e} a vers{\~a}o com
o TMC original do Kain-Frisch, ou seja, n{\~a}o inclui o termo da
perturba{\c{c}}{\~a}o da press{\~a}o na escala da nuvem na
equa{\c{c}}{\~a}o de tend{\^e}ncia de momentum. KFMXP055 e
KFMXP07 s{\~a}o as vers{\~o}es com TMC proposto neste trabalho.
A {\'u}nica diferen{\c{c}}a entre KFMXP055 e KFMXP07 {\'e} um
par{\^a}metro de ajuste (C\$_{k,l}\$) do termo relacionado a
perturba{\c{c}}{\~a}o de press{\~a}o na escala da nuvem. Foram
selecionados tr{\^e}s estudos de caso de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o
intensa sobre o sudeste do Brasil para avaliar os efeitos do TMC
na distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o de chuvas. Os resultados mostram que
KFMX foi melhor para representar chuvas leves a moderadas.
Precipita{\c{c}}{\~o}es mais intensas foram melhor representadas
pelos esquemas com TMC proposto. ABSTRACT: At this work was
proposed an actualization on convective momentum transport (CMT)
of Kain-Fritsch scheme. This actualization is about the insertion
of cloud-scale pressure perturbation term in trend momentum
equation of Kain-Frisch convective scheme. The aim was improve
rain simulations of Eta model. In experiments were used four
version of the Kain-Fritsch scheme (KF, KFMX, KFMXP055 e KFMXP07).
KF was used like a control version, because theres no CMT process
in this version and, therefore, it was used to detect of the role
of CMT process on rain distribution. KFMX is the version with
original TMC of Kain-Fritsch, that is, it doesnt include the
cloud-scale pressure perturbation term in trend momentum equation.
KFMXP055 and KFMXP07 are the versions with proposed CMT. The only
difference between them is the adjust parameter (C\$_{k,l}\$) of
cloud-scale pressure perturbation term. It was selected three
cases of intense precipitation over southeast of Brazil to
evaluate the effect of CMT process on rain distribution. The
results shows that KFMX was better to represent weak and moderate
rain. Strong precipitations were better represented by the schemes
with CMT proposed.",
